Overview Of The Role:
- The Watch Technician is essential in supporting the sales of watch products through efficient after-sales service and professional repairs, directly contributing to the service revenue. The role requires a skilled technician capable of assessing, repairing, and ensuring quality control for various watch brands and models. Success in this role is measured through the achievement of service targets, accurate assessments, and maintaining high customer satisfaction. Operating within the Retail division, the technician plays a crucial part in maintaining brand loyalty and supporting the department's financial goals.
What You Will Do:
General
- Perform professional and technical repairs of watches and clocks to ensure service quality.
- Achieve the set service targets to contribute to service revenue goals.
- Provide technical estimates on the authenticity and reparability of watches.
- Verify and monitor quality control checks for all repairs and services.
- Consolidate technical issues and keep abreast of common challenges in repair processes.
- Follow up and manage technical documentation effectively for efficient service tracking.
- Provide post-repair support and customer interaction to ensure satisfaction.
- Assist in inventory management of repair tools and parts.
Required Skills To Be Successful:
- Expertise in technical repairs of watches and clocks.
- Ability to accurately estimate authenticity and reparability of watches.
- Strong skills in quality control processes.
- Proficiency in technical documentation management.
What Qualifies You For The Role:
- Completion of 10th Standard education.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a Service Technician role, specifically in the watch service industry.
- Proficiency in using MS Excel, Word, and MS Outlook.
- Self-motivated with strong communication and customer interaction skills.
