The position in consideration is with Analytical solutions practice which comprises of advanced analytical solutions in field of Risk management, Finance, Supply chain, Retail and eCommerce.


Job Profile


Coordinates resources for the sales and implementation of customer applications dealing with complex operating systems. Makes presentations on all aspects of products. Assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs and preparing detailed product specifications. Keeps oversight on customer installation plans. Provides follow-up support in disseminating technical information on specific applications. This is a sales role and will pay commission on achievment of business targets.


Primary Responsibilities


  • Serves as the primary technical sales contact, and achieves sales targets for software and professional services
  • Acts as the strategic advisor to SAS users and customer business and IT management.
  • Serves as a resource to Sales Head or Senior Sales Manager.
  • Pursue relationships and opportunities in parallel to widen the bandwidth of sales activity, build trust with all customer contacts, and to promote and maintain the integrity of the SAS/client relationship.
  • Understand customer business, identify latent pain, and set priorities on specific action items.
  • Develop and manage overall Account Engagement Plan (AEP) that documents all SSOs, Action Plans, the support resources (SE, consulting, etc.) required for each step, and the timeframes for all elements.
  • Compiles status reports and ensures that account action items are completed and/or escalates to appropriate level of management when needed.
  • Documents how SAS is being used throughout the account. May periodically recommend changes or enhancements.
  • Promotes use of other SAS Technology, solutions and resources (Consulting, Technical Support, Training, Conferences) available to ensure optimal use and customer satisfaction.




  • Must have business knowledge of SAS technology/solutions, architecture and resources
  • Must have Mathematical or statistics background.
  • Must have 7-10 years’ proven experience (min. 5 years in GCC)  in business applications software solutions selling in the field of advanced analytics especially SAS, to senior business management. (domain knowledge in one of the following domain- BFSI, Risk management, Supply Chain management is preferred. Well versed in dealing with business users and senior business management and other senior stakeholders.
  • Clear understanding of sales strategies and cycles. Excellent problem solving, organizational, decision-making written, oral and interpersonal skills.
  •  Ability to conceptualize client needs and translate into specific implementation strategies.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Travel as business requirements dictate at management discretion.




  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
  2. MBA or Master’s degree in Business Analytics preferred.
