Overview Of The Role:
The Services Fulfilment Specialist is responsible for ensuring a seamless customer journey by offering an inspiring and rewarding customer experience with great quality for last mile services. This includes supporting the market Service Fulfilment team with IT solutions, managing capacity for improved delivery services, contributing to business and people development, and building long-lasting relationships with customers and service providers. The role involves using KPIs for improvement insights and involves performance, people management, financial prudency, adherence to safety standards, and aligning with business planning.
What You Will Do:
- Ensure that capacity for both store and online orders are maintained with the correct system set up by defining and maintaining short and mid-term service and capacity parameters based on available forecasts.
- Prepare Service Providers set up in the system and ensure all services are linked to the correct template.
- Contribute to the short-term and mid-term development of existing service partners through trainings in processes and systems.
- Prepare appropriate plans and schedules to meet delivery and assembly needs.
- Secure accurate reporting of service costs through efficient reconciliation of invoicing of contract costs and connected analysis.
- Maintain KPI reports and prepare action plans for areas of concern.
- Prepare daily delivery and assembly schedules for stores and online orders using the last mile platform.
- Ensure all delivery and assembly jobs are routed with accurate data recording.
- Ensure efficient allocation of fleet resources to meet productivity and lead time criteria.
- Monitor contingency plans to meet delivery and assembly needs in field with service providers.
- Ensure adherence to system procedures as per policy/SOPs.
- Monitor feedback from service providers and implement action plans accordingly.
- Increase productivity of service providers by efficient resource allocation.
- Utilize and monitor transport management system to reduce repetitive work.
- Contribute to the department's action plan and take ownership for its delivery.
- Ensure availability to help and support colleagues when needed.
- Actively work with other store functions to continuously improve the shopping experience to drive long-term profitability.

- Share knowledge and encourage colleagues to do the same.
- Demonstrate a desire to learn and improve skills for the benefit of the IKEA brand and personal growth.
- Follow department guidelines to ensure the Routing department operates at optimal efficiency.

- Follow all guidelines and SOPs set by the health and safety department to ensure a safe working environment.
- Report any risks, hazards, and unusual activities to the senior or manager immediately.
- Follow department business plans and action plans as agreed by the department management team.
Required Skills To Be Successful:
- Proficiency in Excel and other computer literacies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication abilities across various stakeholders.
- Understanding of retail operations and customer fulfillment processes.
What Qualifies You For The Role:
- High School diploma required, with a preference for bilingual Arabic/English proficiency.
- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally with a retail background, is desired.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer literacy are essential.
- Demonstrated thinking and analytical skills along with effective communication capabilities.
- Skills in interpersonal interactions, time management, and problem-solving are crucial.
- Confidence in decision-making and execution of tasks to uphold IKEA’s brand reputation.
