  • The Sales Assistant role is crucial for creating a welcoming shopping environment. You are responsible for driving sales and ensuring customers enjoy a complete shopping experience. Success in this role is measured by sales targets achieved, customer satisfaction, and maintaining the store’s aesthetic and operational efficiency. You interface closely with customers and internal teams, providing product knowledge and utilizing selling techniques.

What You Will Do:

Customer Service


  • Provide high levels of internal and external customer service.
  • Assist and advise customers on product choices and usage.
  • Enhance customer satisfaction through professional interactions.

POS Operation


  • Operate the point of sales system accurately.
  • Handle cash operations with precision.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy in transactions.

Product Knowledge


  • Learn about product uses and benefits.
  • Advise customers on suitable products to meet their requirements.
  • Increase revenue through add-on sales by understanding product advantages.

Receiving Deliveries


  • Assist in receiving and displaying goods.
  • Ensure products are available for customers in a timely manner.
  • Follow approved procedures for receiving goods.

Ticketing & Pricing


  • Comply with pricing and ticketing procedures in-store.
  • Ensure accuracy in product pricing.
  • Protect the company against losses related to incorrect pricing.

Merchandising Principles


  • Apply merchandising principles to maintain corporate image.
  • Keep the store clean and tidy through organized cleaning programs.
  • Ensure the store looks its best in terms of product presentation.

Other Events


  • Assist in stock takes, new store openings, and product launches.
  • Support seasonal launches and promotional events.
  • Engage in additional responsibilities as required.


Required Skills To Be Successful:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

What Qualifies You For The Role:

  • Completion of secondary school education.
