Overview Of The Role:
The Regional IKEA Food PR&C Analyst supports Food & Beverage operations by ensuring compliance with quality, regulatory, and safety standards across IKEA's product range in the region. The role involves collaborating with local authorities and regulatory bodies to ensure products meet country-specific regulations, identifying potential risks, and implementing risk-based safety plans. Additionally, the analyst develops product safety competence within markets and ensures alignment with IKEA of Sweden AB, while supporting the reduction of operating costs without compromising customer service and safety standards.
What You Will Do:
- Safeguard the IKEA brand by ensuring a high quality, safe and inspirational customer experience.
- Ensure IKEA range sold complies with Product Safety regulations in the respective country.
- Execute and manage reporting and documentation for product safety in alignment with country regulations and IKEA of Sweden AB.
- Implement IKEA Concept Documentation systems and methods within the Swedish Food Market & Bistro.
- Coordinate and escalate Product Safety & Compliance issues within the retail country and across other IKEA units as needed.
- Prepare, interpret, and document national food product standards and regulations.
- Translate applicable standards and regulations for the sales market.
- Report changes in national standards to IKEA of Sweden and assist in meeting legal demands.
- Review, analyze test results, and maintain communication with test labs.
- Develop relationships with national consumer authorities and act as IKEA's point of contact for Food products safety and compliance.
- Maintain a network of compliance experts and knowledge about IKEA Swedish Food Market product requirements.
- Ensure compliance with global and national standards for customer and co-worker safety.
- Conduct audits and supplier visits to ensure product compliance with global food safety standards.
- Work with IKEA of Sweden on all matters of food safety and compliance.
- Coordinate import/export logistics with local warehousing service providers.
- Collaborate with Regional Commercial Manager, SFM Manager & Regional Executive Chef for proper product calendarization.
- Monitor KPIs to evaluate and improve operational processes.
- Support cost reductions without affecting service levels and food safety standards.
- Establish operational routines and compliance controls for each store/unit.
- Create and enforce SOPs for IKEA Food store teams.
- Commit to personal development and understanding of the IKEA Concept.
- Distribute Product Quality & Compliance knowledge across the Food team.
- Foster an inclusive environment valuing IKEA culture and diversity.
- Ensure clear internal communication and information flow among IKEA Food co-workers.
- Build relationships with IKEA FOOD country and store organizations.
- Contribute to local and international development of IKEA FOOD.
- Participate in international projects and meetings.

What Qualifies You For The Role:
- Bachelor's degree in Food or a related field.
- 3-4 years of experience in product safety and compliance, testing, or a similar field.
- Fluent in English and Arabic, both spoken and written.
- Strong knowledge of national product legislation and advanced knowledge of food production and food safety.
