Overview Of The Role:
The EA Portfolio Lead will play a critical role in supporting enterprise architecture and process management initiatives within the organization. This includes leading the management of solution architecture tools and advancing architecture strategy processes. The consultant will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure designs align with enterprise standards while driving tool and technology optimizations to support the organizational goals. The role also involves evaluating technologies and maintaining compliance with regulatory controls. Success in this role is defined by effective governance, strategic alignment, clear communication, and the continuous optimization of the architecture landscape.
What You Will Do:
- Lead, mentor, and manage the solution architecture tools, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring continuous professional development.
- Own and advance the architecture strategy process, ensuring effective governance, scalability, and alignment with enterprise architecture frameworks and standards.
- Drive the evolution and optimization of the enterprise architecture toolset, with a primary focus on LeanIX, to support organizational goals and ensure integration with SAP methodologies.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT leaders, and project teams to translate business requirements into robust, scalable, and cost-effective technical solutions.
- Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders, communicating complex technical concepts in a clear and actionable manner.
- Ensure all solution designs comply with established enterprise architecture principles, security policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Support architecture governance processes, including the development and enforcement of standards, guidelines, and best practices.
- Oversee the documentation of solution architectures, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and accessibility for relevant teams, as well as approval from the governance process.
- Identify architecture related risks, putting the correct mitigation plan in place and managing until resolution, whilst reducing customization by implementing standard SAP features.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend their adoption to enhance the enterprise architecture landscape.
Required Skills To Be Successful:
- Expertise in LeanIX configuration and integration.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficiency with API-based integrations and workflow automation tools.
- Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks and tools.
What Qualifies You For The Role:
- 2-6 years of experience in enterprise architecture, business process management, or related consulting roles.
- Proven hands-on expertise in LeanIX configuration and integrations.
- Strong understanding of API-based integrations, GraphQL, and workflow automation tools (e.g., Power Automate).
- Experience with Signavio Process Manager (modeling, analysis, governance).
- Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or similar field.
- Familiarity with SAP ecosystem and enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, ArchiMate) is a plus.
- Previous experience in IT digital transformation programs.
- Knowledge of IT portfolio management, application rationalization, and business capability modeling.
- Experience with multi-tool ecosystems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps).
