About the Role

Design, develop and deliver training material and programs to retail teams to develop product knowledge and skills to achieve commercial objectives and relevant customer satisfaction scores. Job Holder will support for other training activities as required and instructed by manager.

Define Requirements

  • Job Holder gathers training requirements specific to store to drive commercial targets and customer satisfaction scores in line with commercial calendar in coordination with Operations Team and finalizes with L&D Manager
  •  He/she visits stores, observes staff on the shop floor to have direct assessment of strengths and development areas.

Design and Develop

  • Job holder develops training material and program that is easy to implement in stores by leveraging SLS International and AFTC resources.
  • Job holder pilots any material and program before wider implementation, rectifies the final format and gets approval from Operations Management before implementation
  • Job Holder prepares budgetary requirements for the programs developed by him/her.

Post Training Evaluation

  • Job Holder compiles in-store training hours and ensures training records are updated and available
  • Follows-up certifications and their records

Corporate and Brand

  • Job holder is an ambassador for Alfuttaim and Brands and will act responsibly to represent both brands in line with define brand /corporate values
  • Job holder will develop relations with SLS international training resources to leverage existing material and programs.


About You

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge: Bachelor’s Degree;

Minimum Experience: 2+ years’ work experience in Retail or Training

Job-Specific Skills: 

  • Ability to put together training programs, knowledge of adult learning psychology, training delivery skills, comfortable in public and having interaction with different people, analytical skills to define training requirements to support commercial targets, preparing reports, interested in learning.
  • Competent is using MSOffice Tools
