Overview Of The Role:

  • The BSM Automotive Digital & Ecommerce plays a crucial strategic role in driving success for Al-Futtaim's digital automotive business. This position is responsible for leading the development and execution of innovative digital products and services tailored to the automotive industry. The role encompasses demand and delivery management, serving as the primary liaison between business and technical teams to ensure seamless integration of business requirements and technical solutions. By aligning digital strategies with business objectives, the BSM supports optimal delivery processes and drives excellence in digital initiatives.

 


What You Will Do:

Demand Management

  • Define and own the product roadmap for digital automotive solutions, aligning with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to deliver high-quality digital products on schedule.
  • Gather, analyze, and prioritize customer and stakeholder requirements, translating them into detailed product specifications and user stories.
  • Lead cross-functional technical teams through the product development lifecycle, from ideation and requirements gathering to launch and post-launch optimization.
  • Manage business requirements by working closely with business product owners.
  • Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) for traditional projects.
  • Contribute to Product Backlog (Epic) level & Feature elaboration and validate technical effort estimations.
  • Evaluate proposed solutions to ensure business fitment.
  • Support Line of Business in preparing Total Cost of Ownership for potential projects.
  • Lead the RFP/RFX process and evaluate the technical and functional capabilities of vendors/solutions.
  • Document requirements/user stories and ensure techno-functional solution alignment with business product owner.
  • Align IT/Digital Strategy and roadmap with business objectives.
  • Provide consultations on new technologies and digital concepts.
  • Manage requirements using appropriate tools like JIRA, MS-POL, etc.
  • Promote AI innovation and optimization across delivery processes.

 

Delivery

  • Support the Product Manager with the elaboration of the Product Backlog and ensure user stories meet Definition of Ready (DOR).
  • Specify user acceptance criteria aligning with business expectations.
  • Reference UX/UI, High-Level Design (HLD), and Low-Level Design (LLD).
  • Ensure traceability from Journey to Epic to User Stories to Test Case to Defect.
  • Work alongside Business Product Owner to define, manage, and accept user stories.
  • Participate in testing cycles to ensure the user story is delivered and acceptance criteria are met.
  • Own and lead the end-to-end delivery of Change Requests/Request for Change (CR/RFC) to business.

 



Required Skills To Be Successful:

  • Agile/Scrum proficiency with product management tools expertise.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Technical understanding of Digital and CRM processes.
  • Ability to drive innovative digital solutions across delivery processes.

 


What Qualifies You For The Role:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in product management within the automotive or digital technology industries.
  • Strong technical acumen and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and product management tools.
  • Thorough understanding of Digital, Omni-channel, SAP Sales & Service Cloud & S/4 platforms.
  • Expertise in CRM solution and delivery processes.
  • Proven skills in project estimation, governance, and vendor evaluation.
  • Ability to bring innovation to business solutions.
