Reporting to the Group Resourcing Manager you will be accountable for sourcing and hiring talent within the Engineering account across the GCC, delivering on all best-in-class recruitment of the Al-Futtaim brands. This role will also take responsibility for robust market mapping, creating and executing creative on- and offline sourcing strategies across geographies, and implementing comprehensive hiring plans based on manpower plans. The Resourcing Partner will be a pivotal member of the team by applying high commercial awareness and a deep understanding of business ROI to recruitment practices whilst maintaining a presence as a market expert and contributing to shaping the organisation as the employer of choice.

 

Key Role Specific Accountabilities:

 

Resourcing & Hiring

 

  • Accountable for delivering best-in-class recruitment through effective performance management at an individual level
  • Designing and implementing creative sourcing and hiring strategies that reach out to global world class talent (including emerging countries) whilst offering internal customers detailed metrics-driven progress reports and target lists
  • Conducting market research and mapping to create and manage relevant talent pipelines
  • Ensuring internal customer expectations are properly and professionally mapped and are achievable before the sourcing process starts
  • Evaluating remuneration and benefits and negotiating offers and counter-offers together with full completion and sign-off of offers prior to passing to onboarding
  • Keeping abreast of trends in the relevant markets and providing insight and recommendations on the external influences on the recruitment cycle/process
  • Living and breathing the Al-Futtaim Values and ensure they are clearly communicated across the board

 

Stakeholder Management

 

  • Collaborating with Managers and HR Business Partners to design and deliver creative, and comprehensive resourcing plans to meet needs and goals of the Brands and geographies and needs and talent in the market
  • Establishing strong relationships with key stakeholders through effective, accurate and timely communication ensuring promises are kept and timescales are managed effectively
  • Keeping key stakeholders abreast of market trends across the relevant sectors and geographies, including competitor analysis, market remuneration movement and any external influences on the recruitment cycle

 

Analysis & Reporting

 

  • Diligently monitoring, tracking and finessing all required key metrics within the full recruitment lifecycle
  • Producing and presenting hiring dashboards to management during strategic account review meetings ▪ Analysing manpower plans and ensuring alignment with relevant structured hiring plans

 

Employer Branding

 

  • Keeping abreast of employer branding trends
  • Providing informative insights with regards to futuristic recruitment campaigns relevant to designated sector
  • Assisting with relevant employer brand initiatives

 

Requirements of the Role:

 

Education

 

  • Relevant Degree or Diploma would be preferred

 

Minimum Experience and Knowledge

 

  • 4+ years of resourcing experience with an engineering company
  • Expert knowledge about various resourcing tools and best practices for using them
  • Expert knowledge about ATS (ideally SuccessFactors) comfortable implementing various supplementary technologies
  • Demonstrable experience in working within a strong metrics-focused business with successful delivery of SLAs across a team
  • Highly knowledgeable in market research and talent mapping strategies
  • Knowledge of asessment and interviewing techniques would be an advantage
  • Knowledgeable of UAE labour laws and regulations would be an advantage
  • Experience in a matrix work environment
