Overview Of The Role:
The Store Manager is responsible for leading their team to deliver high customer service standards and achieve sales and profitability targets. The role requires excellent communication and people skills to influence professional customer service and leverage sales analysis for business growth. The Store Manager oversees direct reports including Beauty Advisors, Beauty Specialists, Makeup Artists, and Inventory Controllers. Financial responsibilities include managing P&L and store KPIs such as UPT, ATV, SOP, Audit, Compliance, and Shrinkage.


What You Will Do:

Profit Financial

  • Drive, monitor, and review sales performance to deliver the store level sales budget.
  • Conduct monthly meetings focusing on category sales performance with selling personnel.
  • Implement strategies to achieve sales targets for exclusive products and submit feedback on promo effectiveness.
  • Manage and control store approved OPEX budgets, including utilities, wrap supply, and staff costs.
  • Recommend and initiate plans to optimize controllable expenses.
  • Achieve shrinkage budget below tolerance level through daily monitoring of compliance.

 

Commercial

  • Review and ensure timely replenishment and display implementations.
  • Manage availability and timely replenishment of stocks.
  • Ensure consistent inventory adjustments for accuracy.
  • Comply with the Brand of Service Standards in customer interactions.
  • Enhance customer shopping experience to exceed expectations.
  • Handle and report product queries and complaints professionally.
  • Drive loyalty programs and initiatives to achieve transaction targets.
  • Deploy selling techniques to improve conversion/transaction rates.
  • Ensure proper execution of promotions and store activities.

 

Process

  • Communicate and implement policies, brand standards, grooming, and internal controls as per SOP.
  • Demonstrate analytical skills and system/reporting understanding.
  • Monitor store controllable expenses and manage loss, asset protection, and inventory.
  • Liaise with mall management and handle store documentation (daily reports, banking, etc.).
  • Perform cashiering duties.

 

People

  • Plan and monitor Personal Development Plans and role development interventions.
  • Identify, implement, and monitor team learning interventions.
  • Review and discuss performance appraisals and plans with direct reports.
  • Execute action plans for employee engagements.

What Qualifies You For The Role:

  • Bachelor or Master's degree considered a plus.
  • Minimum 5+ years experience in retail and team management within the beauty sector.
  • Good knowledge of beauty industry trends and retail operations.
  • Skills in management, people development, computer systems, and customer service.
  • Leadership, problem-solving, and excellent relationship skills.
