Overview of the role:
The Senior Online Merchandiser & Website Search Specialist leads the onsite merchandising & trading activities of multiple Al Futtaim Ecom websites as well as optimize the Website Search Engine performance of each one of them thanks to iterative optimizations. She / He will also lead junior merchandisers into day-to-day merchandising activities.
What you will do:
- Improve Website Specific KPIs (Merchandising)
- Improve Website Search Engine Specific KPIs (Merchandising)
- Lead the Merchandising & Trading of the various e-Stores, maximising cross & up selling, product positioning and stock availability
- Responsible for daily/weekly management of products going live ensuring 100% accuracy of product content and assets.
- Assist the Head of department to deliver the weekly, monthly reporting/analysis highlighting opportunities and risks
- Lead the execution the Marketing and Promotional Plan Emails and Homepage content
- Building strong relationship with internal teams. Excellent communicator within internal team to support correct timely execution
What you will need:
- 4+ years in Ecommerce Merchandising & website performance
- 4+ years’ experience in a relevant Merchandising role preferably within a multi-channel retailer or pure-play.
- Highly operational, with an understanding of ecom & retail processes
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with experience in producing trade reports and analysis
- Experience in Sales Force Commerce Cloud or equivalent, and ability to learn new technology quickly
- Clear understanding of trading and how to leverage a website search engine to drive conversions
- Proven track record of growing a new business and making change happen
- Strong eye for product and for trading
- Strong understanding of Ecommerce website search engine mechanics & rules (priority, boosting, weightage)
- A high level of customer focus and the ability to understand customers’ needs
