Overview of the Role
Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service in the automotive industry? We are looking for a dynamic and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our Bus Division. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our valued customers, ensuring their service needs are met with professionalism and efficiency. You will play a key role in achieving service revenue targets and maintaining high customer satisfaction scores.
What You Will Do
- Greet customers warmly and record their service requests accurately.
- Provide clear job explanations and cost estimates.
- Prepare job cards and coordinate with workshop teams to ensure timely service delivery.
- Communicate proactively with customers about job status, delays, and approvals for additional repairs.
- Personally deliver vehicles post-service and explain invoices clearly.
- Promote value-added services and contribute to achieving monthly service revenue targets.
- Resolve customer concerns promptly and ensure satisfaction.
Required Skills to Be Successful
- Strong customer handling and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand technical issues and explain them clearly.
- Proficiency in MS Office and SAP systems.
- Logical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
About the Team
You will be part of a high-performing service team within the Bus Division, reporting to the Workshop Manager. The team is committed to delivering top-tier service and exceeding customer expectations, with a strong focus on collaboration and continuous improvement.
What Equips You for the Role
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering.
- 3–5 years of experience in an automotive dealership, with at least 3 years as a Service Advisor in Bus or Commercial Vehicles.
- Familiarity with automotive dealer/distributor business processes and ERP systems.
- A customer-first mindset, cultural sensitivity, and a strong sense of responsibility.
