Overview Of The Role:


The learning and development manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating the learning and development programs and initiatives for the organization. The learning and development manager works closely with the senior management, human resources, and other stakeholders to identify the learning needs and objectives of the employees and the organization. The learning and development manager also oversees the budget, resources, and vendors related to the learning and development activities.


What You Will Do:

  • Conduct learning needs analysis and gap assessment to determine the learning and development priorities and strategies for the organization.
  • Design and develop engaging and effective learning and development programs and materials, such as e-learning courses, workshops, webinars, manuals, etc., using various instructional design methods and tools.
  • Implement and facilitate the learning and development programs and initiatives, ensuring alignment with the organizational goals and values.
  • Provide feedback and coaching to the employees and managers on their learning and development progress and performance.
  • Evaluate and monitor the effectiveness and impact of the learning and development programs and initiatives, using various evaluation methods and metrics.
  • Manage the learning and development budget, resources, and vendors, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in the learning and development field, and incorporate them into the learning and development programs and initiatives.
  • Collaborate and communicate with the senior management, human resources, and other stakeholders on the learning and development plans and outcomes.


Required Skills To Be Successful:

  • Advanced skills in instructional design and adult learning methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills with the ability to coach effectively.
  • Strong project management skills to handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with various levels of stakeholders.


What Qualifies You For The Role:

  • At least 5 years of experience in learning and development, preferably within the automotive industry and in a managerial role.
  • Proven track record of designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating successful learning and development programs and initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge and skills in instructional design, adult learning principles, and learning technologies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, e-learning authoring tools, and learning management systems.
