Job Title:                            Senior Account Relationship Manager    

Reports to:                         General Manager – Sales & Operations

Direct Reports:                  Account Relationship Manager – Finance & Insurance (5 direct reports)

Al-Futtaim Finance (AFF), a wholly owned subsidiary company of the Al-Futtaim Group, is a regulated finance entity focused on providing finance and insurance (F&I) solutions to retail, SME and corporate customers across the automotive and real estate sectors in the GCC, Egypt, Sri Lanka and East Africa.

 

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Account Relationship Manager to join the business to drive the Finance & Insurance sales strategy collaborating with the various Al Futtaim Automotive brands across the UAE network

 

Job Purpose:

The Senior Account Relationship Manager is responsible for driving F&I business across Al Futtaim Automotive in the UAE through

  1. Driving the F&I income and sales targets by implementing strategy
  2. Enhancing the F&I customer experience through continuous improvement of processes and the overall customer journey
  3. To be a strategic partner to the Automotive brands to support and complement the brand sales & marketing stratagem for unit volume

 

Key Accountabilities:

Support execution of the Al-Futtaim F&I strategy by:

  • Execution of the F&I sales strategy that has been tailored for each brand to achieve set KPIs and targets through the Account Relationship Managers and their team of F&I managers (focus on income per retail unit and ultimately income growth)
  • Working in conjunction with the brand stake holders to jointly develop sales and marketing initiatives and F&I campaigns to further enhance the product offering and value proposition
  • To conduct and monitor capacity planning of the F&I organization while ensuring optimal efficiency levels and driving a performance culture by emphasizing on KPI metrics and right behaviors
  • Address training and development requirements of the F&I team and support in building the right solution for their needs in conjunction with HRBPs and L&D consultants. This also includes support to meet brand specific training needs and ensuring that the F&I managers seamlessly fit the brand identity
  • To ascertain possible process improvements through customer feedback surveys, brand response and F&I team opinion which will in turn enhance the customer experience
  • Brings crucial input about current market trends, analyzing historical and current data on performance, customer satisfaction data which is brand specific which will also be fundamental data for sales forecasting, planning and target setting

 

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

  • University graduate having a minimum of 10 to 12 years work experience (of which at least 3 to 5 years should be in a managerial role) predominantly in a sales role
  • Previous F&I Manager experience essential - strong knowledge of F&I process, structure, systems and methodology. Automotive sales background is advantageous
  • Understanding of Auto Sales Processes (dealer level UAE)
  • Strong motivator
  • Outstanding interpersonal, facilitation and presentation skills
  • Ability to influence and gain commitment at all organizational levels
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills and PC proficiency
  • Languages:  Fluent English
  • Insurance product and process understanding
