Overview of the role:

We are looking for a driven and technically strong Sales Consultant for Air Compressors & Industrial Products to join our Industrial Products Division at FAMCO. This role is responsible for driving the sales of Ingersoll Rand air compressors and air treatment solutions across Dubai. The successful candidate will play a key role in achieving strategic growth objectives, expanding market share, and strengthening relationships across major industries, EPC contractors, and Oil & Gas companies within the UAE.

 

What you will do:

  • Achieve unit sales budget and gross margin targets for air compressors and accessories
  • Generate new business by visiting and developing potential customers across assigned territory
  • Prepare techno-commercial quotations, conduct regular follow-ups, and close profitable deals
  • Manage key accounts within the territory and drive customer retention and repeat orders
  • Coordinate closely with the National Sales Manager to support business development initiatives
  • Ensure timely payment collections and maintain compliance with FAMCO policies
  • Monitor and report competitor activities and market trends within the air compressor industry
  • Stay updated on industry regulations, EPC standards, and Oil & Gas sector requirements
  • Promote product marketing initiatives to increase market penetration and share

 

Required skills to be successful:

  • Strong knowledge of rotary screw air compressors and compressed air systems
  • Proven ability to prepare techno-commercial proposals and negotiate at executive level
  • Strong understanding of EPC contractors and Oil & Gas sector regulations
  • Excellent communication skills across different organizational hierarchies
  • Strong key account management and customer relationship skills
  • Ability to generate enquiries and convert them into profitable orders
  • High level of commercial awareness and market intelligence

 

About the team:

You will be part of the Industrial Products Division at FAMCO, working closely with the National Sales Manager and cross-functional teams including Finance, Aftermarket, and Operations. The division represents globally recognized brands such as Ingersoll Rand, serving major industrial clients across the UAE including EPC contractors and Oil & Gas companies.

 

What equips you for the role:

  • Engineering Degree or Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in rotary screw air compressor sales
  • Strong understanding of compressed air systems and industrial applications
  • Proven track record of achieving sales and gross margin targets
  • Experience handling key accounts within industrial or Oil & Gas sectors
  • Valid UAE Driving License
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong negotiation capability
  • Ability to work independently while being a collaborative team player
  • Calm, confident personality with the ability to engage stakeholders at multiple levels
