Sales Engineer - Air Solutions - FAMCO Power & Industrial Products Al Futtaim - Dubai

Serve as a Subject Matter Expert Promoting the Sale of leading Air Solution Products (compressed air system equipment) for al Futtaim's FAMCO Power & Industrial business.

Job Purpose:

To be responsible for direct Sales, Marketing & Business Development of IR Compressed air system equipment’s and support its aftermarket business and services within the assigned Territory of UAE,  to achieve divisions strategic and tactical objectives.


Responsible for;

  • Sales revenue and GM targets
  • Inventory Turn days and Debtor days within acceptable limits.
  • Sales forecast accuracy
  • Creating winning techno commercial proposals for the products and services and negotiating and closing the deals protecting FAMCO interest.


Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 4 years’ experience in direct sales or compressed air system equipment’s / compressed air system projects.
  • Good knowledge and experience in compressed air system equipment, its applications and related various techno commercial aspects of this business.
  • Experience in handling techno commercial contracts.
  • Direct sales experience on centrifugal compressors will be an added advantage.


Minimum Experience:

  • 4 years in direct sales of compressed air system equipment’s / projects.
  • Working experience in UAE / ME region in similar role with solid contacts and networks is most desired.


Job-Specific Skills:

Good product knowledge on different types of compressed air system equipment’s and related accessories & its applications, Good communication & presentation skills, Sound Business acumen, Negotiation skills, Ability to build and maintain relationships, Territory mapping and management.


Behavioural Competencies:

Punctual, Motivated, highly organized and result oriented individual. Emotional stability and adaptability, Accountability and able to work under pressure.
