We are currently seeking an experienced technology professional to join our Enterprise IT (EIT) team in the capacity of ‘RPA Developer/Business Analyst’. To be successful in this role, it is vital that you know coding in Automation Anywhere 360 (AA 360).

 

ROLE PURPOSE

Responsible for directly supporting business critical initiatives within the EIT portfolio, in order to facilitate initiation, delivery and implementation for successful project / programme outcomes. Ensure necessary Governance and Controls implemented and monitored for the same; Support Project Managers & Developers on all use cases, contributing to Quality Reviews, and coordinating activities in support of quality objectives.

Responsible to prepare the Weekly/ Monthly/Daily dashboards, acting as the bridge between the developers and business

 

KEY ROLE SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES

Project Team

  • Work with the QA and RPA Lead to develop the IT Project Standards guide seeking contributions from PMs, BSM, EA Team, Development Team and Service Implementation Leads to ensure that the Standards meet best practice.
  • Continue to evolve the processes and templates throughout the project lifecycle
  • Manage the delivery of small to medium size projects for EIT as assigned; rescue projects
  • Support Group & transformational projects to be delivered as per agreed plan.
  • Business requirements document, Process Design Document and Solution Design Document to be documented as per the AFG standards
  • Calculation of Return on Investment in each project
  • Detailed mapping of the “As Is” process and “To be Process” for each use case to be documented and demonstrated to the stakeholders
  • Receive the requirements related to Digital Engineering and take it forward with the Technical team/s
  • Be part of the feasibility and discovery sessions to communicate the requirements and make sure all the involved teams are aligned on the requirement and the technologies being used.
  • Liaise with the technical team on resource availability and ensure having awareness of the team bandwidth.
  • Ensure projects delivered on time and any hindrances to be reported to the line manager
  • Tool knowledge to be known in depth by the individual  
  • Project delivery on-time and within budget
  • Measure Business benefit delivery against agreed business cases of projects
  • Quality of Business Requirements Document, Solution Design Document
  • Stakeholder Management

 

Development

  • Design, Develop, and Maintain automated processes in the RPA space
  • Design detailed automated processes and develop end to end solutions
  • Work closely with a team to understand business processes and requirements
  • Ability to manage servers including roles, services, log files
  • Assist with installations, testing, documentation, and incident management
  • Prepare detailed process design and user stories
  • Ability to problem solve and determine solutions
  • Deliver high quality work and adapt to new challenges
  • Collaborate with Process Architects to understand the business requirements and create automation scripts in automation tools to meet these requirements.
  • Design, develop, test and demonstrate robotic process automation to stakeholders and sponsors .
  • Facilitate change management and implementation planning efforts.
  • Assist with post implementation analysis and validation activities.
  • Support bots in production         

 

Governance & Control

  • Implement governance standards across the portfolio, including tracking, monitoring and updating the status of project deliverables for the Digital Engineering Team
  • Ensure financial controls and systems for recording, monitoring, forecasting and budgeting of all project expenditure in place & accurately reported
  • Compile metrics relating to project success, project attributes, and adherence to defined processes
  • Manage programme/portfolio level Lessons Learned repository; Post Project Review meetings to identify key areas of improvement to be captured into the Lessons Learnt repository
  • Identify and manage key cross-functional risks related to successful project delivery
  • Conduct Audit & quality check at key intervals of project and post project.
  • Manage the project budget, keep the track
  • Follow up with Contract Management team for the tasks pending
  • Able to write the UAT positive and negative scenarios and facilitate UAT
  • Track the tasks in JIRA or Dev Ops            

 

Financial Management, Administration & Support.

  • Support the Digital Engineering team for on-boarding, off-boarding candidates
  • Support EIT on Resource Management
  • Ensure project control systems are in place and integrate project data for decision makers
  • Coordination of the regular project and program level reporting cycles; project Governance arrangements, Post Project Reviews, Program level workshops
  • Project Financial Review and posting
  • Weekly, Monthly and Daily publish of Reports including DocuSign
  • Document management support to the team
  • Training the team for RPA, QA and Automation tools like DocuSign
  • Facilitate Timesheet management with the team              

 

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or other related field; Or equivalent work experience. 
  • Project Management Certification or successful completion of a recognized project management curriculum is required

 

Minimum Experience and Knowledge: 

7-10 years IT Experience including 2 years minimum experience of working in a medium-large Project Management Office in similar role; Experience of managing small projects, or exposure to the end to end project lifecycle, or managing substantial parts of the project lifecycle; knowledge of project management tools and techniques, Industry best practice, policy & procedure formulation, bench marking processes, project & quality management

 

Job-Specific Skills:

  • Must know coding in AA 360, at least 4 years’ experience to troubleshoot the errors
  • Advanced use of Project Management methods & tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (oral & written) and ability to deal with different levels of people within the organization
  • Expertise in Microsoft packages, including Project, PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • 4+ years' experience as a Business Analyst or Process Owner in Finance and Accounting, Insurance, HR or ITO services
  • Should have relevant experience in the RPA tools like Automation Anywhere and Automation tools like DocuSign
  • Experience in AA 360 Migration, IQ bot and Bot Insights
