Overview Of The Role:

The Pricing Manager is responsible for managing the B2C channel of the global aftersales team, driving customer-centric pricing strategies for Al-Futtaim's automotive brands. This role is pivotal in ensuring market-driven price positioning and profitable job offerings. The manager oversees the alignment of retail prices with brand target margins, and manages the revision process, understanding margin drivers, and continuously seeks improvement opportunities. Working in a fast-paced, matrix organization, the role requires collaboration with wider aftersales stakeholders to achieve business goals. The position involves designing pricing structures, preparing budgets, implementing pricing strategies, reporting on performance, managing teams, and assuring organizational standards are met.


What You Will Do:

 

  • Support the Head of Pricing in preparing quarterly and annual budgets.
  • Design and implement fixed-price service offerings for key repair jobs, ensuring competitiveness and profitability.
  • Develop and optimize retail pricing structures across brands to improve SPVIO and overall gross margins.
  • Identify pricing improvement opportunities through data analysis, visualizations, and business cases.
  • Manage and continuously enhance the menu pricing solution, including validation and adoption of new jobs.
  • Drive new brand inclusion within menu pricing and support digitalization initiatives to unlock margin growth opportunities.
  • Develop value-based pricing strategies for Segment 2 and other target customer segments.
  • Support the development and governance of goodwill policies, including customer and business contribution ratios.
  • Utilize statistical analysis and data visualization techniques to improve business performance and decision-making.
  • Create, implement, and review labour pricing structures to maximize efficiency and profitability.
  • Collaborate with Tier 1 and Tier 2 stakeholders to minimize cannibalization while protecting gross margins.
  • Monitor revenue and margin performance, providing insights on variances against budgets and forecasts.
  • Track and report recommended work conversion rates and pricing effectiveness.
  • Ensure B2C pricing SOPs are current, compliant, and aligned with operational requirements.
  • Develop dashboards and reporting tools to provide actionable insights on retail pricing performance.
  • Lead and manage the B2C Aftersales Pricing team, ensuring delivery against agreed KPIs.
  • Oversee discount structures across all brands, including staff discount programs and retail price revisions.
  • Manage pricing governance, cost adjustments, process improvements, and timely pricing of new products across all channels.

 


Required Skills To Be Successful:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, especially in translating technical knowledge for non-technical audiences.
  • Proven commercial mindset, understanding customer impact.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.


What Qualifies You For The Role:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, or Finance; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in a multinational environment within the automotive sector, ideally with a distributor and OEM.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience using analytical tools (e.g., R, Python) for solving real-world problems, preferably with knowledge in pricing analytics.
  • Experience with Tableau or other data visualization tools such as Power BI, SAS, or SAP Business Objects.
