The Merchandiser is responsible for identifying & delivering a range appropriate to the region, whilst working with the UK to ensure product & pricing strategy are correct and relevant for the MENA region and thereby achieve the Key Business KPI’s of Sales, Cash Margin, Markdown Cost and Closing Stock. You will be involved in business planning and delivery of key KPIs, sales and OTB planning, range detail planning, product selection, stakeholder management and leading people.

 

To be considered for this opportunity, you must be educated with minimum 5 years experience in fashion buying, planning and merchandising, preferably in retail womenswear in the Middle East. You must demonstrate good understanding of womenswear business & trends, ability to handle complexity, excellent planning and organizing skills, strong numerial and analytical skills, attention to details, highly numerate, good communicator and teamplayer. Advanced skills in MS Excel is required and knowledge of SAP system would be an advantage. You must also be able to travel to the UK to attend seasonal buying fairs.
