Overview Of The Role:
- The Manager IT Audit (Technical Infrastructure) is responsible for appraising computer systems and networks, evaluating them for security, integrity, efficiency, and meeting business requirements. The role requires safeguarding IT assets, assessing adequacy of systems architecture, and enhancing cybersecurity readiness. Through data analytics and special assignments, the manager ensures continuous improvement and compliance with best practices to protect the organization's technological resources.
What You Will Do:
General
- Evaluate existing computer systems for confidentiality, security, integrity, availability, compliance, effectiveness, and efficiency.
- Examine technical configuration settings to ensure systems meet requirements and best practices.
- Review authorisations of cloud infrastructure, databases, operating system, and network administration to maintain proper security, control, confidentiality, and segregation of duties.
- Assess the adequacy of IT architecture to protect against unauthorised access to internal resources.
- Evaluate the cybersecurity readiness of the group to identify areas of improvement and collaborate with the IT department and Information Security team.
- Review technical system development life cycle phases to ensure new systems and upgrades fulfill user/business requirements with adequate security and controls.
- Safeguard IT assets and facilities, verifying the existence and optimal utilisation of all information system assets.
- Design analytics tests and perform data analysis using statistical analysis, predictive analytics, and forensic review to support audit activities.
- Extend audit coverage using data analytics/AI tools such as Advanced Excel, Power BI, Power Query, Alteryx, Copilot.
- Perform or participate in special assignments, reviews, studies, audits, or investigations to evaluate specific situations.
Required Skills To Be Successful:
- Extensive knowledge in IT auditing and cybersecurity.
- Proficiency in data analytics and AI tools like Power BI, Alteryx, and Advanced Excel.
- Strong ability to evaluate and improve IT architecture and security controls.
- Exceptional communication skills to convey complex audit findings to stakeholders.
What Qualifies You For The Role:
- CISA/CISM certification or a graduate degree in Computer Science.
- Two to five years of experience in IT audit focusing on Technical/Infrastructure/Cyber Security in large conglomerates or banks.
- Proficient in computer application system auditing and knowledgeable in Azure Cloud Infrastructure, various operating systems, and network technologies.
- Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, exceptional report writing, and oral communication abilities.
