About the Role

The manager will support the optimization of the business operating model for assigned portfolios in line with the Business and IT Strategy. To manage the Business & EIT relationship (strategy, projects, service) for assigned portfolios


About the Responsibilties

Demand and Relationship Management

  • Work within governance structure (Business & EIT) to govern and prioritise the business IT demand, fully aligned to business strategy and target operating model maturity
  • Support development of business cases, operating model changes, solutions, business buy-in; and integrate in planning and budgeting cycles and demand management process
  • Act as business integration point for IT Service Delivery, SLA agreement, major Service Incident Management and Service Improvement for assigned portfolios
  • Build a strong partnership with business leadership and other key stakeholders to become fully integrated in decision-making and driving business strategic priorities
  • Support the implementation of the internationalization strategy and the integration of international IT teams

Business Optimisation Priorities

  • Build detailed understanding of business performance, operating model maturity and opportunities for improvement for assigned operating model components
  • Highlight and develop the opportunities (“To Be” business processes, business benefits, organisation impact, etc.); build consensus with business leadership and integrate into planning cycles.
  • Bring new thinking and innovation to the business


Business Optimisation Delivery

  • Lead business process design sessions with BPR team; and develop and maintain process operating models
  • Contribute to solution and architecture development (including phase out plans)
  • Work with GM/HoBSM and Project managers to ensure that assigned projects remains on track
  • Ensure business benefit delivery and benefit optimization from demand cycle and actively promote results with the business
  • Contribute to the improvement of the solution demand & delivery practices, procedures, methodologies and tools


Education: Degree in Computer Science/IT/Engineering/Science;


Minimum Experience and Knowledge:  5-10 years IT Experience, 3-5 years of healthcare experience with major healthcare IT providers like Cerner, Epic, InterSystems.


Job-Specific Skills: Healthcare provider business operating model and their major technology investments

TCO development for IT investment business cases; Healthcare EMR business system, technology and related best practice knowledge.

Awareness of local and regional Health data privacy and regulatory compliance standards.
