Overview Of The Role:
The City IKEA Business Specialist oversees sales and range activities within the organization, promoting IKEA's concept to secure sales with corporate clients. The role entails utilizing personal contacts, referrals, and direct calling to achieve established contract sales targets. Success factors include effectively negotiating deals, closing sales, and maintaining high customer satisfaction.
What You Will Do:
Operations
- Implement systems and methods stated in IKEA Concept Documentation across all stores.
- Prepare weekly and monthly contract sales statistics to identify variances and establish corrective actions.
- Maintain complete and up-to-date knowledge of IKEA products and concepts to provide corporate customers with state-of-the-art solutions.
Commercial
- Assess the market and competition continually to maximize impact and sales objectives.
- Submit competitor analysis reports quarterly by consolidating information on competitors' activities.
- Source new customers actively within the market.
People
- Assist in product knowledge training for Contract Sales Executives.
- Ensure after-sales service quality for clients by overseeing warranty issues and exchange items.
- Empower, support, and coach sales co-workers to enhance performance and growth.
- Create an environment where IKEA culture and diversity are strong values, making the store a great place to work.
- Ensure simple and effective internal communication, and secure comprehension of key information by all sales co-workers.
Business Steering
- Finalize annual sales and profit targets and submit realistic guidelines to achieve feasible contract sales.
- Supervise goods ordering by Contract Sales Executives and monitor shipping schedules with the Range Department.
- Meet monthly with the Range Department to discuss stock situations and share information with Contract Sales Executives.
Customers
- Solve customer problems during assembly and follow up post-installation to ensure satisfaction.
- Ensure the delivery and assembly process goes smoothly as per customers' requirements.
Required Skills To Be Successful:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in English and Arabic.
- Ability to create a diverse and inclusive work environment embracing IKEA values.
- Strong negotiation and customer relationship management skills.
What Qualifies You For The Role:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
