Head of Brand Management - Al Futtaim - Toyota - UAE


Al Futtaim Toyota now has an opening for an innovative, energetic and experience Head of Brand Management to join their dynamic head office team.

Reporting To: General Manager Brand & Marketing, Toyota


Job Purpose:

To drive product development with Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC), the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), that results in a leading market share for one of the largest brands in the Al Futtaim Group and in the UAE car market. By strategically planning and positioning the products, this role creates internal and external passion for Toyota products which in turn has a direct impact on consideration, closing and profitability of Toyota. 



Establish Product Strategies that deliver Toyota brand market share and profitability targets, while creating competitive advantage for the future.


This will be achieved through these key activities:

1. Drive Product life cycle activities (including positioning, packaging, Accessories) by actively influencing OEM product cycle plans as well as Al Futtaim Group resources / suppliers.

2. Study customer buying behavior in every channel, competitive activities, and market conditions, and develop strategies that provide competitive advantage to Toyota.

3. Monitor and Drive Brand awareness and appeal through

  1. innovative product packaging,
  2. effective communication with front line teams to enhance product knowledge and confidence, and consistently improving the product communication strategy with customers, OEM, and broader stakeholders.  

4. Develop Best in Town Talent through Coaching, Technical Skills road map (through Individual Development Plans), and effective Succession Planning


Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (MBA Preferred) with demonstrated experience in pricing and planning/analysis.


Minimum Experience:

  • Minimum 5 - 8 years’ work experience in a multinational Sales & Marketing environment in leading Automotive brand, with product planning experience specifically.
  • Toyota Brand experience is highly desired. 
  • Demonstrated passion for automobiles would be an asset
