Build the AI Platform That Powers the Future of Automotive

At Al-Futtaim Automotive, we're creating a connected ecosystem where AI, automation, data, and intelligent decision-making come together to transform customer experiences and business operations across various automotive brands.
We are seeking a visionary and hands-on technology leader to build and scale our AI Platform, the foundation that will enable enterprise orchestration, intelligent automation, experimentation, and AI-powered decision-making at scale.
This is not a role focused on proofs of concept or isolated AI initiatives. It is an opportunity to create a platform that embeds AI into the fabric of how the business operates, delivering measurable impact across customer, commercial, and operational journeys.

What You'll Build
•    You will lead the creation of our AI Platform, the orchestration layer that powers:
•    Agentic AI and AI-powered business automation
•    Enterprise workflow orchestration
•    API-first and event-driven architecture
•    MLOps and LLMOps platforms
•    Large-scale experimentation and optimization
•    AI-enabled customer and employee experiences
•    Intelligent business processes across sales, aftersales, mobility, leasing, and corporate functions
•    Your work will influence how technology, data, and AI create value across one of the most diverse automotive businesses in the region.

Your Mission
You will build and operate a unified AI Platform that becomes the intelligent operating layer across the organization.
Working closely with technology, customer experience, product, data, and business teams, you will:
•    Embed AI into critical customer and operational journeys
•    Build reusable AI and automation capabilities that scale across brands and functions
•    Turn machine learning models into enterprise-grade services
•    Enable experimentation as a core business capability

What Equips You for the Role

Education & Qualifications
•    You hold a Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related technical discipline. Professional certifications in cloud architecture, enterprise architecture, AI, platform engineering, or related technology domains are highly regarded.
•    You bring a strong foundation in modern technology ecosystems, including distributed systems, enterprise integration, software architecture, AI platforms, experimentation frameworks, and intelligent automation.

Experience
•    You have 12+ years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, enterprise architecture, systems integration, or technology leadership roles, including at least 5 years leading engineering, architecture, platform, or AI teams.
•    You have a proven track record of building and scaling enterprise-grade platforms that support mission-critical business operations and delivering complex transformation initiatives at scale. Your experience includes deploying AI, Machine Learning, Generative AI, Agentic AI, or intelligent automation solutions into production environments and translating technology investments into measurable business outcomes.
•    Experience within automotive, retail, telecommunications, logistics, financial services, or other complex multi-brand organizations will be highly advantageous.

•    Experimentation, optimization, and data-driven product development
•    Platform reliability, security, governance, and scalability
•    Modern software engineering and architecture
