About the Role

Demand Planning Analyst responsible for Analysing, Statistical modelling and continuous improvement of forecast in demand planning & Availability in supply planning process .

  • Drive continued improvements to forecast accuracy through cross functional alignment and partnership, modeling, and tool creation
  • Review and analyse historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models and evaluate forecast results
  • Create baseline forecasts, maintaining data and forecast integrity in the forecasting tool(s) as well as other related platforms; communicate forecast to internal customers
  • Develop Simulation model for forecast, replenishment, sales etc. and suggest best fit outcome to business based on goals & target
  • Defining forecast & replenishment process for New product introduction with buyers & range planning team to avoid over-buy/under-buy and stock out situation in stores
  • Correcting replenishment parameters, lead times are regularly conform to business levels

  • Plan & monitor replenishment across the Distribution Centre network , stores & online by maintaining the accuracy replenishment parameter

  • Monitoring monthly ageing stock level and building liquidating strategy with Logistics & Buying team through inter-territory/store transfer, clearance & promotions.

  • Collaborate with the Buying and Inventory teams and relevant business leads to resolve out of stock or stock shortage situations

  •  Dashboard delivery from planning visibilities to all stakeholders at Yr/Quarter/Month/Week/YTD/MTD/ WTD level covering- Senior Manager – Overall Business forecast Vs Actual by category, region, and store.

  • Finance- Forecast sales Vs Actual, intake margin ;

  •  Monitoring monthly ageing stock level and building liquidating strategy with Logistics & Buying team through inter-territory/store transfer, clearance & promotions.

  • Collaborate with the Buying and Inventory teams and relevant business leads to resolve out of stock or stock shortage situations

 

About You

Degree required OR three years or more of analyst experience

Minimum Experience and Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of Demand & Supply planning process
  •  Previous experience of working on project based role in planning & supply chain.
  •  Experience with using ERP systems (preferably SAP) and advanced Panning tools with statistical modeling

Job-Specific Skills:Advance system proficiency, SAP & JDA experience in additional advantage

  •  Proven analytical skills.
  •  Experience with planning software/tools and merchandise management systems is preferred
  •  Ability to work in a matrix environment with multiple business functions
  •  Strong team player and ability to work with the cross functional partners and senior management on all aspects of the business
