Overview of the Role

Join Al-Futtaim Electric Mobility | BYD and play a key role in supporting the financial and operational success of our Aftersales business. We are currently hiring multiple Cost Clerks across our locations in Dubai, Sharjah, and Abu Dhabi.

As a Cost Clerk, you will be responsible for reviewing repair orders, processing invoices, managing purchase orders, and ensuring accurate costing of labor, parts, and related services. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced automotive environment and enjoys working closely with service operations teams.

What You Will Do

• Review labor, parts, and service order line items to ensure accurate cost allocation and job costing.
• Prepare proforma and final customer invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Process labor and parts discounts in line with company policies and approvals.
• Raise and manage Local Purchase Orders (LPOs) for sublet services and purchased items.
• Perform Goods Receipt (GR) and Invoice Verification (IV) activities.
• Monitor open LPOs and coordinate timely closure with relevant departments.
• Ensure service records and documentation are properly maintained and filed.
• Support incentive and overtime calculations for operational teams.
• Maintain compliance with company financial controls and operational procedures.
• Contribute to the smooth operation of the workshop through accurate administrative support.

What Equips You for the Role

• High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Cost Clerk, Service Administration, Aftersales Administration, or similar role.
• Experience within the automotive industry is highly preferred.
• Working knowledge of SAP.
• Strong Excel and reporting capabilities.
• Good understanding of workshop or service center operations.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and coordination skills.
• Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
