Key Accountabilities

  • Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits. Follow the SOP pertaining to cash handling.
  • Compute and record transactions and ensuring 100% accuracy for all register transactions.
  • Count and record the float before trading begins and upon close of trading.
  • Cash handling and safe custody of collected cash.
  • Petty cash Handling as per SOP.
  • Coordinate activities with Accounts Receivable and Payable regarding the relative cash movements
  • Prepare invoices with accuracy and keep record of invoices
  • Ensure all VAT related documentation are properly managed
  • Review documentation as per SOP and checklist before issuing gate pass
  • Challenge business in instances where SOPs are not followed
  • Ensure that company's customers are well-attended to, assuring their needs is satisfied.
  • Work efficiently and effectively in order to minimize queues.
  • Check inter company invoices on a monthly basis

 

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:

  1. Accounting qualification (bachelor’s in accounting) with proven expertise in Financial accounting
  2. Strong core finance technical skills, processes and systems

Minimum Experience:  

  1. Experience with ERP (preferably SAP)
  2. Proficiency in MS Office (Word/ Excel)
  3. 3 to 4 years of experience as a cashier or in the field of Finance & Accounting
