Business Support Manager | Al Futtaim Automotive | Dubai

About the Role:
The mission of the newly created New Business, Strategy and Transformation department (NBST) is to set the future strategy of automotive division, leading transformation projects, provide a consistent process and change management framework and build the portfolio of the future by doing businesses that Al-Futtaim Automotive has not done before by exploring M&A, Joint Venture, partnership, and incubation opportunities in UAE and internationally. With the set-up of four vertical teams NBST organization aims to address key challenges to the strategic execution and enable growth

 

Role of the new Business Manager of NBST is to provide business and stakeholder management support to the GM of NBST to ensure consistent communication and execution of strategic priorities along these four verticals. The Business Manager will ensure that business and project follow up, cross-functional governance, executive board management information and reports are in place and coordinate with other business leaders to support timely implementation of strategic decisions and frameworks. This person will also play critical role to support President and Group Transformation Office to cascade down strategic priorities as well as gathering the critical input required from other stakeholders with regards to various automotive strategic process cycles

 

Ideal candidate should have consultancy or transformational project management background and have a strong knowledge of financial practices and reporting.

 

About the Position:
The ideal candidate for this role should possess the following qualifications, skills and experience:

  • Business or Finance University Degree - MBA highly preferable
  • 5 year+ experience in strategy consultancy, project management or business management roles
  • Proven track record in organizing and working with multiple teams and departments cross functionally
  • Generalist, extremely versatile, and loving juggling multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder management
  • Excellent business communication and writing skills including business correspondences, presentations and preparing business packs
  • Knowledge of the automotive industry
  • Knowledge of financial practices and reporting (balance sheets, profit & loss, budgeting) 
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal, team building and negotiation skills
