Job Title: Business Development and Translation Executive - Digital retail eCommerce

 

Role Purpose - To support and assist the Business Development Manager across new business opportunities.

To manage vendors’ accounts, coordinate on products’ content and online promotional activities across multiple categories for Al-Futtaim Marketplace.

To cater all Marketplace translation requirements and provide quality assured translation via the translation agency.

 

KEY ROLE SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES:

 

Manage vendors’ accounts on Marketplace via:

  • Generating potential vendors’ leads through relevant acquisition channels
  • Maintaining an active sales pipeline, correctly prioritizing accounts based on their overall potential for the business
  • Developing fail-proof negotiation strategies to convert any lead
  • Go through the entire seller on boarding process: efficiently train sellers to use their back-office and portal functional tools autonomously
  • Developing and growing accounts to self-efficiency
  • Targeting: 20 vendors signed and activated/quarterly related to business priorities

    Content and products translation quality assurance through quality gates on the agency output.

     

    PERSON SPECIFIC:

     

    Education:

  • Bachelor in Business or Computer Science with at least 3 years’ experience in a Commercial role, preferably in retail

    Minimum Experience and Knowledge: 

    • Arabic proficiency is a must
    • Range/category experience or previous company experience at the same level
    • Good planning, organizational and prioritization skills
    • Highly operational, with an understanding of retail processes
    • Strong analytical and numerical skills – someone who quickly grasps the key drivers of the fast fashion and DIY market

       

      Job-Specific Skills:

    • Good working knowledge of MS Office

      Good working knowledge / experienced user of an eCommerce content management system
