Overview of the role

We are looking for a commercially driven and customer-focused After Market Sales Consultant – Volvo to join our Aftersales team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring customers who purchase Volvo and SDLG construction equipment from FAMCO receive comprehensive parts and service support.

As the key point of contact for customers, you will manage parts and service requests, identify sales opportunities, and ensure a seamless customer experience. You will work closely with internal teams to drive aftermarket growth while contributing to strategic initiatives within the Aftermarket Department.

 

What you will do

Customer Coverage

  • Deliver effective customer coverage through structured territory planning
  • Maintain a strong understanding of customer needs and buying patterns through regular field visits
  • Develop and execute customer call plans and visit schedules
  • Identify and onboard new customers through proactive prospecting and follow-ups
  • Support new equipment deliveries by promoting parts and service offerings such as PM contracts, CSAs, and Care Track solutions
  • Monitor customer requirements to ensure timely delivery and proactive communication

Financial Sales Performance

  • Achieve sales targets including revenue, gross profit, and market share
  • Promote a professional image while delivering high-quality technical and service support
  • Identify and convert aftermarket sales opportunities across the territory
  • Drive growth in key product areas such as undercarriage, GET, engine, power-train, and hydraulic attachments
  • Collaborate with head office teams to identify business opportunities and provide tailored solutions
  • Work closely with Service Managers to prepare and present quotations and proposals

General Duties

  • Maintain high standards of professionalism and customer engagement
  • Ensure all customer and equipment data is up to date within internal systems
  • Maintain assigned company equipment and vehicle in good condition

  • Follow all health and safety procedures and report incidents or hazards
  • Actively participate in safety programs and initiatives
  • Ensure use of PPE and maintain safe working practices at all times

  • Deliver high-quality outputs across all customer interactions

  • Sound technical understanding of aftermarket parts and service operations

  • Ability to analyze data and present insights effectively

 

About the team

You will be part of the Aftersales team within FAMCO, supporting Volvo and SDLG construction equipment customers. The team is focused on delivering exceptional aftermarket support while driving revenue growth and customer retention through strong collaboration with service, parts, and sales functions.

 

What equips you for the role

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (mandatory)
  • Experience as a Field Parts Engineer, Service Sales Representative, or Parts Sales Representative
  • Strong background in construction equipment, heavy equipment, or related industries
  • Prior experience in aftermarket parts and service operations is highly preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer systems\
  • Valid UAE driving license
