About the Position:

 

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Visual Merchandiser | Ted Baker | Doha, Qatar. In this role, you will be responsible for:

 

  • To liaise with Buying and Merchandising to ensure the most commercial stock levels of stores to enable a location to perform on all aesthetic and retailing requirements.
  • Providing daily reports communicating all aspects of a store visit to be used and followed up by the senior retail and UBB VM teams.
  • To manage all aspects of the area role including, daily logistics and finance of travel and accommodation, along with the recording and receipting any expenses.
  • To be proactive in dealing with stock package change and location specific demands, ensuring the VM guidelines always meet their requirements.
  • To train and support in store VMs (IVMs) in all aspects of their role.
  • In conjunction with senior retail to continually liaise with the buying and merchandising departments to strive to improve stock allocation, store profiling and stock holding, both on and off the shop floor
  • Partner with Country Manager & Area Support to sign off weekly feedback to B & M. .
  • To support the IVM/ when in store, helping to trouble shoot issues and coach them in their relationships and personal skill set.
  • Ensure consistency across the territory using all VM and commercial tools to ensure. effective use as well as company compliance.
  • Training of the teams on commercial and visual expectations on each visit .
  • Attend and support the area meetings .
  • Review all product communication from UBB to each territory to ensure it can be used effectively if considering translation and the manpower in the locations Give feedback regularly to SVM and CM with thoughts and solutions on the product communication at Ted Baker.

     

 About You:

 

To be successful in winning this role, you should possess below attributes:

  • Preferably trained to degree level in a creative field.
  • You must have some visual merchandising experience at store level.
  • Sound knowledge of Excel and Word.
  • Excellent commercial analysis with considered feedback.
  • Bright and always on the ball. Able to step up to the challenge with a strong, problem solving personality.
  • Confident and pro active communicator able to bring results by following, creating and leading instruction and guidelines.
  • Ability to effectively troubleshoot and problem solve.
  • Proven skills working as part of different teams, achieving the same visual/commercial goals, but also able to work independently on a daily basis.
