About the Position:

 

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Accountant for DOMASCO, Doha, Qatar. As an Accountant, you will ensure that ensure accurate data entry, maintaining customer accounts, aging and preparing management reports. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Enter PDCs in system and reconcile it with the invoice.
  • Posting of daily deposit and bounced cheque entries.
  • Prepare and update aging report aligned with system and complete record of restructuring and reschedule cases.
  • Calculate rebates and penalty charges on foreclosure cases.
  • Maintain and balance subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.
  • Calculate incentive on monthly basis and obtain approval to process in payroll.
  • Maintain complete portfolio, collection record, segmentation and legal cases record.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly and adhoc in house finance reports.

 

About You:

 

Ideally you will be educated to degree level with finance/accounting preferred. Previous experience of around 5 years in a similar role would be an advantage.

You should have great attention to detail and excellent communication skills. A strong understanding of Excel and SAP is advantageous.
