Overview of the Role
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our Aftersales team at Auto Point. In this role, you will ensure total customer satisfaction by performing high quality Preventive Maintenance (PM), General Repair (GR), and tire related services. You will play a key part in delivering safe, accurate, and timely repairs that meet both manufacturer and Auto Point standards.

 

What You Will Do
•    Perform PM & GR mechanical repairs, along with tire fixing, replacement, balancing, and rotation—right the first time.
•    Conduct accurate diagnosis and safe execution of all mechanical and tire related jobs.
•    Use protective equipment to maintain cleanliness of customer vehicles.
•    Complete all Repair Orders (ROs) within standard allocated times to achieve efficiency targets.
•    Maintain minimum vehicle carryovers by completing jobs within committed timelines.
•    Keep the work area clean, orderly, and safe, ensuring proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment.
•    Support revenue growth through proactive tire replacement recommendations, tire services, and mechanical upselling.
•    Achieve productivity and efficiency targets in line with departmental KPIs.

 

Required Skills to Be Successful
•    A minimum of 5 years’ experience in mechanical repairs and tire services
•    A Diploma in Automotive or Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
•    Strong technical knowledge of PM & GR mechanical repairs.
•    Hands on expertise in tire services including fixing, replacement, balancing, alignment awareness, and rotation.

You will be part of the Aftersales team, reporting directly to the Aftersales Supervisor. The team is committed to delivering exceptional service quality and customer satisfaction.
