Overview Of The Role:
- The Customer Service Assistant at IKEA Egypt serves as the front-line representative of the store, supporting customers with their inquiries and ensuring a positive shopping experience. This role is integral to maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction by efficiently managing the information desk. It involves handling customer complaints, logging feedback, and guiding shoppers, all while adhering to organizational policies and improving customer service standards. Success in this role is measured by customer satisfaction KPIs and the effective execution of customer service processes.
What You Will Do:
Customer Interaction
- Greet and welcome customers upon arrival at the store.
- Answer all customer inquiries and provide guidance on shopping with IKEA.
- Handle routine customer complaints promptly and courteously.
- Log customer feedback into the CRM system to build a knowledge base of frequent complaints and inquiries with relevant solutions.
- Ensure customers are dealt with professionally to maximize customer satisfaction.
- Make announcements and page individuals visitors have asked to see.
- Ensure customers' bags are stored safely and securely.
- Ensure shopping tools and catalogues are available for customers.
- Provide bags or trollies as appropriate.
Operational Support
- Ensure adherence to all system procedures as per policy and procedure.
- Provide Customer Service Senior with constant suggestions for improvements.
- Provide customers with catalogues upon request.
- Understand the impact of increasing sales through effective use of shopping tools.
- Communicate with Duty Manager regarding complaints that require management assistance.

What Qualifies You For The Role:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar customer service or receptionist role.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems for logging and tracking customer interactions.
- Familiarity with retail operations and customer service practices.
