We are currently seeking an experienced Graphic Designer professional to join our Group Communications Team in the capacity of Senior Graphic Designer.
Overview of the role
A highly skilled and experienced Senior Graphic Designer to lead and elevate our design projects across both print and digital platforms. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in creating exceptional editorial designs, brochures, presentations, infographics, catalogues, and a strong expertise in all aspects of digital design, including web, social media, email campaigns, and interactive media.
As a senior member of the team, you will take ownership of design projects, ensuring they are executed at the highest quality level while meeting deadlines and business objectives. The role also requires the ability to work effectively in a remote environment, collaborating seamlessly with cross-functional teams across different time zones.
What you will do
- Lead and manage design projects from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with brand and business goals.
- Conceptualize and design compelling visuals for digital, social media, and editorial projects.
- Develop creative solutions that align with brand guidelines while innovating for new mediums and formats.
- Design layouts for editorial content, reports, brochures, and other print and digital publications.
- Create visually engaging PowerPoint presentations and templates that communicate ideas effectively.
- Develop visual assets for marketing campaigns, and internal communications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, content, and product teams to execute design strategies.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging design technologies, and best practices in digital and print design.
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to a culture of creativity and excellence within the team.
- Design clear, engaging, and data-driven infographics to simplify complex information.
- Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines and maintain consistency across all materials, both print and digital.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
- Stay ahead of design trends, AI tools, and technologies to bring innovative ideas and solutions to the team.
- Present design concepts to stakeholders and incorporate feedback effectively.
- Work efficiently in a remote environment*, maintaining strong communication and collaboration with the team.
Required skills to be successful
- Proven ability to lead projects and manage workflows independently in a fast-paced setting.
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), and other relevant design tools.
- Proficiency in digital design tools and platforms, such as Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Experience designing for social media platforms, email marketing tools, and digital advertising.
- Deep understanding of typography, layout, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering pixel-perfect designs.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to thrive in a remote work environment, demonstrating self-motivation, time management, and proactive problem-solving.
- A portfolio that demonstrates a high level of creativity, technical skill, and strategic thinking across both print and digital mediums.
What equips you for the role
- 7+ years of professional graphic design experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in editorial, brochures, catalogues, presentations, infographics, and digital design.
- Experience with motion graphics or video editing tools (e.g., After Effects, Premiere Pro) is a plus.
- Familiarity with print production processes and preparing files for print.
- Experience working in an agency or creative studio environment.
