Overview Of The Role:

• The role involves ensuring absolute financial integrity and compliance within the AFG framework. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in optimizing the close cycle, investigating financial risks, and serving as the audit point of contact. Success in this role requires precision in handling intricate financial data and influencing stakeholders under tight deadlines. Your collaboration will directly impact the company's financial reporting and strategic outcomes.

What You Will Do:

Financial Integrity & Compliance

• Guarantee the accuracy and reliability of all balance sheet reconciliations.
• Ensure 100% compliance with IFRS/IAS standards and AFG policies.
• Provide a solid foundation for the Group's consolidated financial statements.

Close Process Optimization

• Own and optimize the month-end and year-end close cycle for assigned entities.
• Ensure timely, accurate, and efficient book closure with zero material adjustments post-submission to BPC.
• Coordinate with various departments to streamline the closing process.

Financial Risk Mitigation

• Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies, control gaps, and audit findings.
• Protect company assets and mitigate financial reporting risks.
• Implement safeguarding measures in transaction processes.

Audit Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for audits.
• Manage multiple urgent requests while adhering to the core closing calendar.
• Provide comprehensive support to auditors for smooth audit operations.

Data Management

• Operate within a fast-paced environment with non-negotiable closing deadlines.
• Manage large volumes of financial data from various sources within ERP systems.
• Address and resolve historical reconciliation items while maintaining ongoing responsibilities.

Required Skills To Be Successful:

• Expert-level proficiency in balance sheet reconciliations.
• Deep understanding of end-to-end month-end close processes.
• Advanced data analysis skills with Microsoft Excel.
• Strong interpersonal skills to liaise with auditors and other business units.

What Qualifies You For The Role:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 3+ years experience in financial analysis within a large organization.
• Advanced hands-on experience with SAP (S/4HANA) and related GL Accounting modules.
• Expert knowledge of IFRS/IAS standards with practical application to financial statement preparation.
