• The Forklift Operator is responsible for efficient and safe handling of goods within the warehouse. The role involves executing the receiving process with precision to ensure order accuracy and timely stock availability for stores. Success involves collaborating with the team to achieve departmental goals while adhering to IKEA's operational standards. The operator must utilize their knowledge of logistics and warehouse procedures to maintain inventory integrity and enhance goods availability. Commitment to health, safety, and security measures is crucial to prevent incidents and foster a supportive work environment.

General

• Execute the receiving process efficiently and safely with high accuracy.
• Ensure warehouse operations are secured for preparing/picking orders for stores.
• Develop and apply knowledge of IKEA operations to improve processes.
• Contribute to the timely execution of store warehouse tasks to ensure high goods availability.
• Work according to inventory guidelines to maintain data integrity and maximize product availability.
• Follow all IKEA health, safety, and security rules to prevent incidents.
• Support colleagues in the department and other store areas when necessary.

• Proficient in retail and logistics processes.
• Ability to prioritize and organize tasks efficiently.
• Good interpersonal skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Strong attention to detail and personal discipline.

• 2-3 years of experience in warehouse operations.
• Knowledge of warehouse procedures.
• Skilled in retail and logistics processes and methods.
• Familiarity with IKEA brand, culture, and values.
• Mandatory driving license for Forklift machines.
