• The role of Filler at IKEA Egypt involves ensuring the smooth flow of merchandise from the stockroom to the sales floor, maintaining full shelves and a shopable environment for customers. Success in this role is characterized by effective stock management, minimizing handling damages, and ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and accurate merchandise stocking.

Merchandising and Stock Management

• Assist in the stocking and merchandising of incoming truck shipments to the sales floor and manage remaining stocks back to buffer.
• Ensure all items are correctly handled and stocked to maintain items in good condition.
• Check goods for damages and report them to the person in charge.
• Ensure all goods not of sound quality are handled according to company systems and procedures.

Customer Service and Returns

• Collect customer returns from the customer refund counter and return them to the warehouse.
• Ensure the area is ready and clear for customers before store opening by removing all empty boxes.

Quality Control and Damage Prevention

• Reduce internal handling damages to control costs and achieve store profit targets.
• Highlight any damages to goods to the relevant personnel and take necessary action.

• Goods handling and safety awareness.
• Ability to stand and move throughout the store.
• Physical strength for lifting heavy items.
• Teamwork and collaboration skills.

• High School Diploma.
• 1-2 years of retail experience.
• Preferred knowledge in goods-flow or supply chain.
• Ability to lift heavy loads routinely and maintain a strong physical demeanor.
