Overview of the role
The position is responsible for leading the Project Management function across the Residential, Hotel, Retail and Commercial portfolio in Egypt, overseeing end-to-end project execution from mobilization to handover. It ensures on-time delivery, budget adherence, quality compliance, and health & safety standards. Additionally, the role focuses on enhancing team capabilities, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and mitigating risks across multiple complex developments.

What you will do

• Provide leadership and strategic direction for the Project Delivery function across all stages of development and construction.
• Build and enhance the capability of the Project Delivery team, including performance management, coaching, and succession planning for senior project managers.
• Establish and enforce project governance frameworks, ensuring consistent use of tools, processes, and reporting standards across all projects.
• Drive cross-functional alignment with Development, Design, Commercial, Legal, and Operations teams to clarify responsibilities and streamline decision-making.
• Oversee external stakeholder relationships, including contractors, consultants, and authorities, ensuring alignment with project objectives and company values.
• Lead risk management and mitigation efforts across the portfolio by proactively identifying issues, setting escalation protocols, and ensuring corrective action.
• Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the project delivery organization.
• Provide executive reporting and insights to the Asset Development leadership team on portfolio performance, risks, and key decisions.
• Champion post-project reviews and knowledge sharing to institutionalize lessons learned across teams.

Required Skills to be successful

• Minimum 20+ years of total experience, with at least 10 years in a senior construction/project management leadership role overseeing complex developments.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with Design, Development, Commercial, Legal, and Operations teams.
• Deep knowledge of construction processes, local regulatory frameworks, and commercial acumen.
• High personal integrity, with the ability to enforce internal governance standards including procurement, contract administration, and cost control.
• Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills.

What equips you for the role

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Civil Engineering, or Construction Engineering.
• Advanced knowledge of project management tools and construction delivery methodologies.
