Overview of the role:

Support the development management function by coordinating and driving projects through the various stages of the development lifecycle, under the guidance of the Senior Development Manager. The role is responsible for ensuring effective planning, stakeholder coordination, and alignment of project objectives, while supporting the successful delivery of projects through to practical completion. The position plays a key role in managing project timelines, monitoring financial and commercial performance, facilitating cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring development activities are executed in line with the project vision, business objectives, and approved strategies.

What you will do:

• Support the management of development projects from feasibility through design, construction, handover, and project closeout stages.
• Monitor project business cases, development briefs, budgets, timelines, risks, opportunities, and key performance indicators to ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Coordinate the preparation of feasibility studies, financial appraisals, project budgets, and stakeholder approvals in line with company policies and procedures.
• Work closely with Design teams and consultants to develop project briefs, manage design deliverables, secure approvals, and ensure compliance with quality, cost, and timeline requirements.
• Collaborate with Project Management and Delivery teams during pre-construction and construction phases to support procurement, contractor selection, project execution, and site progress monitoring.
• Monitor project costs, cash flows, schedules, and commercial performance to ensure compliance with approved business cases and development targets.
• Coordinate with Finance, Investment Analytics, Commercial, Sales, Leasing, Marketing, and Operations teams to support project feasibility, revenue strategies, funding requirements, and operational readiness.
• Support contract administration, procurement activities, change management, reporting, and stakeholder communications throughout the project lifecycle.
• Participate in project handover activities, final inspections, closeout processes, and lessons learned reviews to ensure successful project delivery.

Required Skills to be successful:

• 6-10+ years of experience in real estate development, project management, development management, or a related field, with at least 2 years within a real estate development company.
• Proven experience supporting projects across feasibility, design, construction, and handover stages.
• Strong understanding of project financials, budgeting, feasibility studies, project planning, and development processes.
• Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders, including Design, Project Management, Sales, Leasing, Finance, Marketing, and Operations teams.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and AutoCAD.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting capabilities.

What equips you for the role:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience within mixed-use, residential, commercial, or large-scale real estate developments is preferred.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English, written and spoken.
• Strong understanding of the real estate development lifecycle and project delivery processes.
• Self-motivated with strong leadership, organizational, and communication capabilities.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and commitment to company values and ethical standards.
