About the Position

Role Purpose

Initiates, defines and manages very high profile projects of considerable complexity and set direction of all Electrical systems
Lead, coordinate and complete project with minimal supervision, develop meaningful reports to support business activities and communicate professionally and persuasively verbally and in writing. 
Responsible for directing Electrical activities and design of projects through technical supports /advices to another Projects Managers / Design Managers / Governmental Relations Department and ensures all Department business goals and objectives are reached. 



Key Accountabilities

• Oversees and coordinate with all City Management (Facility Management) Electrical projects from design and tender phases.

• Oversees all investment plan and coordinate Electrical utilities to ensure the max efficiency. 

•    Manage and provide oversight to the design to meet Design Brief  through Design Stage (Technical reviews). 

• Set realistic and practical Electrical Goals for all projects and develop appropriate strategies for achieving these goals. 

• Communicate and advice design / Project Managers in regards to Electrical trades. 

• Managing Electrical on all phases from Design & tenders until completion of construction projects. 

• Provides technical advice / input relevant to all Electrical systems. 

• Participate in risk assessment and recommends design modifications to eliminate system malfunctions. 

• Handle escalated Electrical Problems. 

• Monitoring Electrical (as: MV, LV, Meters, M. Station) progress of projects on regular basis. 

• Supervises monitors and evaluate the performance of Contractors / Consultants on projects site.

• Periodic sites visit to spot check quality and progress. 

• Develop and execute an efficient internal communication strategy for ensuring communication with all levels of management within the team and the group. 

• Liaising with the governmental department for obtaining all Electrical approvals and / or work with the Permit Department in obtaining these permits and approvals. 

• Cost reduction / Value engineering tasks cross the projects. 

• Support operation, commercial and facility management department. 

• Responsible for tender evaluation process in all Electrical projects aspects.  

• Cost & Budget Management; provides oversight and guidance to commercial department relevant to cost estimates and electrical systems. 

• Provide coaching and guidance to the design / project managers about every electrical aspect of the project so that the team members can understand their tasks fully and act on them efficiently.
