Overview of the role:

Support the Project Delivery function by managing the planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring they meet agreed scope, schedule, cost, and quality standards. The role is responsible for coordinating cross-functional teams, managing stakeholder expectations, monitoring project progress, mitigating risks, and ensuring effective resource utilization. The position plays a key role in supporting project delivery objectives, maintaining project governance and compliance, resolving issues, and driving continuous improvement to ensure projects are delivered successfully in line with business goals.

What you will do:

• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with business goals and develop comprehensive project plans covering timelines, resources, dependencies, and risk management strategies.
• Lead cross-functional project teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within agreed scope, and within budget.
• Monitor project progress, manage dependencies, identify issues, and implement timely resolutions to maintain project delivery timelines.
• Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular and clear updates on project status, risks, changes, and key milestones.
• Identify potential project risks, develop and implement mitigation plans, and escalate critical issues to senior management when required.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, track costs, and ensure projects remain within approved budgets and comply with financial requirements.
• Ensure project deliverables meet agreed quality standards while implementing best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Motivate and guide project team members, assign responsibilities, and monitor performance to ensure effective resource allocation.
• Ensure adherence to organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and project governance standards while maintaining accurate project documentation for audits and reporting.

Required Skills to be successful:

• 7+ years of project management experience leading projects across all phases, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closing, with a minimum of 5 years of experience within a quality management department.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to define project scope, manage timelines, resources, budgets, risks, and deliverables effectively.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure and resolve project issues effectively.
• Strong adaptability and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage changing project requirements and stakeholder expectations.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and influencing skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and build effective stakeholder relationships.
• Strong team-building and collaboration skills, with a high level of accountability and integrity.

What equips you for the role:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, preferably Architecture
• Strong knowledge of project management principles and practices across the full project lifecycle.
• Experience within a quality management environment, with a strong understanding of quality standards and project governance.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, lead project teams, and deliver projects within agreed scope, timelines, budget, and quality standards.
