Overview Of The Role:

The Assistant Planning Manager is responsible for delivering a comprehensive planning and reporting framework across the organization's project portfolio. This role demands advanced skills in data-driven analytics, AI-enabled reporting solutions, and executive dashboard development, ensuring precise and insightful project performance visibility. The candidate will drive innovation in project controls, overcoming challenges encountered in managing performance data, and leading digital transformation initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency and decision-making quality. Success in this role involves providing executive management with clear and actionable insights through meaningful dashboard designs while maintaining a high standard of data accuracy and consistency.

What You Will Do:

General

• Establish and maintain an integrated project planning, monitoring, and reporting framework that provides accurate, timely, and reliable visibility of project performance across the entire portfolio.
• Develop and sustain executive-level dashboards using Power BI to monitor project delivery status, milestone achievement, risks, challenges, and recovery actions effectively.
• Implement AI-driven reporting solutions that automate reporting processes, reduce manual effort, improve data accuracy, and provide actionable insights for decision-making.
• Drive proactive project controls by identifying schedule deviations, performance risks, bottlenecks, and critical project challenges early, and supporting stakeholders with data-driven recommendations.
• Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and analytical decision-making through advanced analytics, business intelligence solutions, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Transform large volumes of complex project data into meaningful executive insights and easy-to-understand dashboards for senior management.
• Balance the demand for real-time reporting with the need to maintain data integrity, governance, and reporting accuracy.
• Support executive management with accurate forecasting and performance analysis under tight deadlines and evolving business priorities.
• Drive reporting automation and AI adoption within a traditionally manual reporting environment while ensuring stakeholder acceptance and engagement.
• Identify and communicate project risks, delays, and performance concerns proactively while supporting the development of practical mitigation strategies.

What Qualifies You For The Role:

• Minimum 5-7 years of progressive experience in Project Planning, Project Controls, PMO, or Project Performance Management within the real estate development sector.
• Previous experience with a leading real estate developer in Egypt, preferably among the top-tier real estate development companies.
• Advanced hands-on experience in developing executive dashboards and portfolio reporting solutions using Power BI.
• Strong expertise in project scheduling, progress monitoring, critical path analysis, and project controls using Primavera P6.
• Proven experience in managing multi-project reporting environments and presenting project performance insights to executive management.
• Experience in implementing reporting automation solutions and leveraging AI tools for dashboarding and management reporting.
• Strong analytical, presentation, reporting, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to convert complex data into actionable business insights.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, including advanced Excel analytics, Power Query, and data modeling techniques.
• Experience with data integration, KPI development, forecasting, trend analysis, and business intelligence methodologies.
