Overview of the role:

We are seeking a results-driven Assistant Manager – Digital Marketing to support and oversee digital marketing operations for Cairo Festival City and Cairo Festival City Mall. The role focuses on managing agency deliverables, aligning with regional digital marketing strategy, and ensuring brand consistency and compliance with global guidelines. This position plays a key role in coordinating social media and digital campaigns, performance reporting, and integrating communication across all digital touchpoints.

What you will do:

  • Translate marketing briefs into strategic direction for agencies handling social media and digital media buying.
  • Oversee the implementation of social media content plans, campaigns, and performance KPIs through external agencies.
  • Review and approve creative assets, post copy, and campaign plans to ensure alignment with brand voice and objectives.
  • Ensure consistent messaging across all social and digital channels.
  • Act as the primary liaison with digital and social media agencies, ensuring clarity of briefs, adherence to timelines, and quality of output.
  • Track agency deliverables and escalate gaps in performance or output when needed.
  • Maintain clear documentation and reporting of agency performance against KPIs.
  • Work closely with Al-Futtaim’s Regional Digital Marketing Team to ensure local plans align with regional brand strategy.
  • Share market insights, campaign results, and local learnings to support cross-market consistency and knowledge exchange.
  • Ensure digital activities in Egypt uphold regional digital standards and global brand guidelines.
  • Collect, consolidate, and analyze weekly/monthly/quarterly performance data on digital campaigns and social media.
  • Generate insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Present regular updates to internal stakeholders on campaign outcomes and digital health metrics.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to align digital messaging across:
  • Email Direct Marketing (EDMs)
  • Website and app content
  • CRM and retargeting tools
  • Ensure consistency across all digital consumer touchpoints in line with 360° marketing campaigns.

 

 

Required Skills to be successful:

Minimum 5 years of experience in digital marketing with a strong focus on social media, agency management, and campaign coordination.

What equips you for the role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communication, or related field.
  • Prior experience in real estate, retail, or lifestyle brands is highly preferred.
  • Experience working with or managing external creative/media agencies.
  • Familiarity with performance and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and social media dashboards.
