Overview of the role:

Support the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function by managing budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and business performance analysis across the ResiComm business. The role is responsible for supporting the end-to-end financial planning cycle, preparing accurate financial insights, performance reports, and analytical outputs, while partnering with cross-functional teams and Regional Finance to meet reporting requirements. The position plays a key role in enhancing financial planning and reporting processes, supporting business performance and strategic decision-making, ensuring compliance with Group finance policies and accounting standards, and driving continuous improvement across the finance function.

What you will do:

  • Support the monthly financial reporting and closing process by preparing accurate financial reports, monitoring balance sheet integrity, and performing detailed account analysis.
  • Prepare monthly management reporting packages and financial performance analyses to support business reviews and management decision-making.
  • Conduct financial analysis across key business cycles, including sales, leasing, working capital, and project financing, providing actionable insights to support business performance.
  • Support the annual budgeting process, rolling forecasts, long-term business planning, and cash flow forecasting to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Partner with Treasury and key stakeholders to support project funding requirements, cash flow management, and financial planning activities.
  • Monitor business performance through variance analysis, financial reporting, and performance reviews, identifying risks, opportunities, and improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare financial reports, schedules, and analytical models to support strategic planning, business decisions, and internal and external reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with Business Teams, Shared Services, Regional Finance, Group Finance, and internal stakeholders to deliver accurate financial reporting and analysis while supporting business requirements.
  • Contribute to finance transformation initiatives, including reporting automation, system enhancements, and process improvement projects to strengthen financial planning and reporting capabilities.

Required Skills to be successful:

  • 3+ years of experience in Credit Control, Accounts Receivable, Finance, or Accounting, with experience managing customer collections, debt recovery, and receivables within a corporate environment.
  • Proven experience in credit control, collections, customer account management, reconciliations, aging analysis, and reducing overdue receivables while maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP or Yardi, with the ability to manage financial records, customer accounts, and reporting efficiently.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, large customer portfolios, and meet reporting deadlines.
  • Experience supporting business operations through financial analysis, customer account reviews, billing support, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with corporate clients, high-net-worth individuals, and internal stakeholders.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including experience managing large datasets, databases, and financial reporting.

 

 

 

What equips you for the role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline. A postgraduate qualification is considered an advantage.
  • 1–3 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or Financial Planning & Analysis, with experience in the Real Estate industry considered a plus. Exposure to the Real Estate, Construction, or Project Management sectors is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and accounting principles.
  • Knowledge of Egyptian Accounting Standards (EAS), IAS/IFRS, financial statement preparation, and financial reporting best practices.
  • Experience working with ERP financial systems, preferably SAP and Yardi.
  • Professional qualifications such as CPA, CA, CMA, ACCA, CFA, CIMA, or an MBA are considered an advantage.
