• The Recovery Assistant plays a pivotal role in supporting store recovery and quality processes. The position is dedicated to minimizing unnecessary asset costs and enhancing sustainability by refurbishing and selling products that have been returned or damaged. Collaborating with various store functions and matrix teams, the Recovery Assistant is responsible for identifying and implementing improvements in product recovery and quality processes. Success in this role involves maintaining a balance between profitability and environmental responsibility.

Recovery Operations

• Collect products from various locations within the store, including customer returns, damages, and display items, adhering to company Standard Operating Procedures.
• Assess the condition of the products and determine appropriate actions such as repackaging, selling in AsIs (Circular Hub), selling as parts, keeping for internal spare parts, or disposal, in line with company Standard Operating Procedures.
• Display products in AsIs (Circular Hub) safely and commercially, following company pricing principles and display techniques.
• Ensure visitors in AsIs (Circular Hub) have a positive shopping experience by being service-minded and maintaining high standards in routines and housekeeping.
• Offer detailed product information, assembly instructions, and spare parts guidance to customers.
• Conduct inventory checks in the AsIs (Circular Hub) and perform investigations to minimize discrepancies, under the supervision of the Recovery Group Leader.
• Collaborate with relevant store functions to ensure efficient item flow through Recovery, aiming to maximize profit and maintain compliance.

• Minimum High School Degree required.
• At least 1 year of retail experience, with a preference for carpentry experience.
• Proficiency in selling techniques and customer service.
• Strong understanding of goods handling and safety measures.
• Proficient in written and spoken English; knowledge of Arabic is preferred.
• Computer literacy in MS Office applications is essential.
