Overview Of The Role:
The Business Development Manager Bodyshop is responsible for driving revenue growth and market expansion across Saudi Arabia by identifying, developing, and managing strategic business opportunities. The role covers key segments including Fleet, Insurance, Non Agency Repairs, EV, Premium, and Agency business for BYD and multibrand operations. This position plays a critical role in building strong partnerships with insurers, corporate fleets, and key stakeholders, while ensuring alignment with operational capabilities. The role will define and execute sales strategies, achieve financial targets, and support the sustainable growth and profitability of Body & Paint operations across KSA.
What You Will Do:
- Drive business growth across Agency, Non Agency, Fleet, Insurance, EV, and Premium segments
- Identify, develop, and secure new business partnerships including insurance companies, fleet accounts, corporate clients, and leasing companies
- Develop and execute market entry and expansion strategies for Bodyshop operations across KSA regions (Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam)
- Build and maintain strong, strategic relationships with insurers and key stakeholders to ensure a consistent inflow of repair volumes
- Conduct market intelligence and competitor analysis to identify trends, pricing benchmarks, and new business opportunities
- Monitor and analyse Bodyshop sales performance and pipeline to ensure target achievement and timely corrective actions
- Propose and implement new products, pricing models, and value‑added services to enhance revenue growth and customer experience
- Collaborate closely with operations to ensure capacity alignment, service quality, and high levels of customer satisfaction
Required Skills To Be Successful:
- Strong ability to identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities across insurance, fleet, non agency, EV, and premium segments.
- Proven experience managing strategic partnerships with insurers, fleet operators, and corporate clients to drive sustainable repair volumes.
- Strong commercial mindset with excellent negotiation skills to define pricing models, close deals, and achieve financial targets.
- Ability to analyse market trends, competitor activity, and performance data to drive informed, data‑led expansion strategies.
What Qualifies You For The Role:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- 8 to10 years of experience in automotive aftersales, with at least 3 to 5 years in business development or sales leadership (Bodyshop / Aftersales preferred)
- Strong experience working with the Insurance industry, particularly in vehicle claims handling
- Proven commercial acumen with strong negotiation and deal closing capability
- Demonstrated ability to manage and grow insurer and fleet partnerships
- Strong market intelligence and strategic planning skills
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and relationship building skills
