UAE NATIONAL | TECHNICAL ADVISOR | AL FUTTAIM AUTOMOTIVE | AJMAN

 

Al Futtaim is looking for a UAE National with mechanical engineering degree/diploma with few years of experience in the automotive service industry for this role. 

 

The primary function of the Technical Advisor (TA) is the symptom confirmation, diagnosis & repair of complex customer vehicle concerns based on direct interaction & road test with the customer, to identify the location, source and magnitude of the customer complaint.

 

Job Context:

The Technical Advisor role will report to the Workshop Manager. This role is specifically designed to interact with customer that experience technical issues. A very knowledgeable role in terms of technical issues to resolve and fix with proper diagnosis.  

  • Diagnose difficult technical concerns  
  • Offer technical solutions and report to enhance products and services  
  • Manage complaint and filter best technical solution for customers  
  • Analyse technical trends and work in conjunction with National Technical Leader to resolve difficult diagnosis. 
  • Report all findings to Workshop Manager and Service Manager.  
  • Ensure DMT’s are mentored on difficult diagnosis  
  • Advise on branch technical requirements and solutions  
  • Engage with SGA to ensure that we advocate am environment of continuous improvement 
  • Ensure FIX IT RIGHT is adopted as a culture within the teams they support  
  • Study warranty trends and advise of BFTR submission 
  • Below are the job responsibilities:
    • To maximize the sold hours from technical operations to meet the revenue performance objectives by supporting the Workshop Manager in target setting and achievement of his/her direct reports. 
    • Ensure and monitor optimal capacity of resources of the direct reports to deliver Total Quality Management. 
    • To constantly evaluate through performance management all direct reports to support the development and growth. 
    • Identify areas of continuous improvement within the workshop operations to create a more efficient and safer workplace by supporting the Workshop Manager to promote Kaizen culture
