Overview Of The Role:
The Store Manager oversees all aspects of the store's operations with a focus on sales growth and profitability. The role involves ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining merchandising standards, and fostering a skilled and motivated team. Success in this position requires strategic planning and execution to meet financial targets and enhance the overall customer experience.
What You Will Do:
People Development / HR
- Recruit, hire, develop, and retain high-quality management and associates for the store.
- Lead by example and provide training, development, and ongoing feedback on product knowledge and selling skills.
- Conduct weekly staff meetings and daily briefings to recap performance and communicate new goals and procedures.
Customer Experience / Sales
- Prioritize excellent customer service by executing the Customer Experience through regular assessment and coaching.
- Maintain visibility on the selling floor to answer questions and support selling functions.
- Implement visual merchandising standards, directives, and promotions, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
Drive Sales & Profitability
- Meet or exceed profitability expectations for sales, payroll, shrink, and conversion.
- Create and execute strategies to maximize sales while controlling expenses.
Operational Effectiveness
- Control company assets by meeting loss prevention measures including inventory management.
- Execute and comply with all company policies and store procedures.

What Qualifies You For The Role:
- High school education or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum two years of experience as an Assistant Store Manager with a proven track record in driving sales and profit.
- Proficiency in business English and report analysis skills.
- Good computer skills with experience in Outlook, Excel, and SAP.
