Overview Of The Role:

  • The Sales Assistant is responsible for generating sales and delivering a positive experience to customers. The role includes operational duties such as maintaining store cleanliness, adhering to visual presentation standards, and providing attentive and personalized customer service throughout the store. Success in this role involves embodying company values, supporting the store management team in operational aspects, and ensuring customers have an excellent shopping experience.

What You Will Do:

General


  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store to meet visual presentation standards.
  • Create a positive first impression for customers through energetic attitude and adherence to dress code.
  • Greet customers warmly and provide a sincere, friendly welcome.
  • Provide customers with current and relevant product information to assist their purchasing decisions.
  • Offer quality service in the fitting rooms and follow up with customers promptly.
  • Ensure efficient service at the cash register, offering gift cards, and maintaining cash wrap cleanliness.
  • Capture customer information into the database efficiently and correctly.
  • Thank customers sincerely as they exit the store and invite them to return.


Required Skills To Be Successful:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with CAD software tools for visual merchandising.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Physical stamina to perform job duties, including standing for long periods.

What Qualifies You For The Role:

  • High School Degree.
  • 1-2 years of retail sales experience.
  • Proficient in using computer-aided design (CAD) packages such as AutoCAD, Sketchup, Illustrator, or Photoshop.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to perform some heavy lifting and stand for a minimum of 8 hours.
